After nearly three decades in operational defence, product strategy and industry research, including leading within the Chief Security Office at Lloyds Banking Group, I have watched the same pattern repeat. Leaders are handed more exposure data every year and less clarity about what to do with it. Findings multiply; decisions do not.
I joined AttackIQ's advisory board because I think the industry has to move from identifying exposures to helping leaders understand which ones matter, in the order the adversary would actually use them.
What I argue in the piece
From exposure to clarity: fragmented risk indicators must give way to adversary-aligned attack paths that tell a leadership team what to fix first and why.
Continuous Threat Exposure Management is the operating model: a disciplined loop connecting business priorities to threat-informed discovery, prioritisation and validation.
AI accelerates both sides. Structured, threat-informed decision support is how organisations keep innovation velocity without surrendering resilience.
The same principle underpins Pinpoint Security: give boards the evidence and the framing to make confident decisions, not another dashboard.
